I am the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kindness Sharing Project (KSP) an anti-poverty, an anti-human trafficking and anti-human smuggling international non-profit organization 501 ©3. KSP spreads kindness and works to reduce human suffering by helping heartbroken people in need. KSP advocates for justice, fairness, equity, and equality. Recently, I earned my master’s degree in Social Justice and Human Rights from George Mason University in December 2020. A field, which fully compliment my current work as CEO with Kindness Sharing Project (KSP), Victim Advocate Specialist and Equity Team Lead with the Domestic & Sexual Violence Services Division (DSVS) of the Department of Family Services (DFS) and the Domestic Violence Action Center (DVAC). For my bachelor’s degree, I graduated from University of Mary Washington with a triple major and one certificate, on time in four years. I majored in Human Rights, Political Science, International Affairs, and received a certificate in Middle Eastern Studies. I was born in Kabul, Afghanistan and grew up in Islamabad, Pakistan. When I was a teenager, I won a talent scholarship to attend the University of Mary Washington in Virginia, United States of America. Therefore, I am multilingual, I speak Persian (Dari, Farsi), Urdu, English, Hindi, Pashto and some basic Arabic and basic Spanish. I believe, my experiences of living in three different countries and my understanding of multicultural diversity have allowed me to easily adapt to multi-work that I do now. My advocacy work and expertise in justice, fairness, equity, and equality has helped KSP to excel. Through my current work, I can help people of all genders, ethnicities, colors, religious beliefs, and nationalities with kindness and dignity. I enjoy writing and public speaking and has used these skills extensively to advocate for human rights, social justice, conflict resolution and peace. Additionally, I am an award-winning poet, writer, and human rights activist. I received the Talent Scholarship of University of Mary Washington (UMW). In 2011, I was awarded the “Best Poet of the Year for Afghanistan and the United States” by International World Poetry, Canada. In 2012, I was appointed as the Ambassador of Youth and Peace for Afghanistan and the United States by International World Poetry, Canada. In 2016, I received the “Big Heart” Award by FACETS for my contributions toward helping people in need. In 2018, I received the Global Goodwill Ambassadors’ award by Global Goodwill Ambassadors nonprofit organization. I also won the 2nd Project of the Year Award through Virginia Statewide Neighborhoods Conference 2018, for my advocacy and leadership efforts of bringing the entire community together to work on Paradise Park Project at Barros Circle in Centreville, Virginia. I won the Ambassador of Youth, Peace and Global Goodwill Ambassador for my activism, writing, and public speaking skills that I have used extensively to advocate for social justice and human rights.
