Claire’s love of storytelling started when she was in the second grade at Garfield Elementary School and was asked by her teacher, Mrs. Lyons, to retell a version of Disney’s Lady & The Tramp as Claire understood it. It was on that day that a storyteller was born. Even at a young age, she was an avid reader and often retold the stories she read in her own voice, sometimes adding more interesting details for her listeners. Now, she retells the stories others have shared with her and her own life experiences by weaving them together. As an adult, she considers herself to be somewhat of a renaissance woman… someone who is many things to many people. She has self-published two other books under a different name in the Romance genre, but the Last Prophet series is closest to her heart, since it was a labor of love and faith that began back in the late-1990’s as an idea that she and one of her spiritual mentors shared in common. When she is not writing, she is an educator, a wife, a mother, a social justice advocate, and a loving and devoted family member and friend. Claire has served on church music ministries and considers herself to be a relatively good singer and guitarist (although not good enough to do so professionally in her own estimation). She currently lives in Southern California with her husband, and her two energetic autistic sons, and enjoys a simple life that is never dull. Claire believes in the sacredness and beauty in every person, and loves to meet new people. She hopes to meet and listen to her readers’ stories and hopes they enjoy the tales she shares. #clairegager #TheLastProphetseries
