Benjamin M. Soto

Benjamin M. Soto has more than 30 years of experience in real estate law and business. He owns two companies in the field and is a licensed member of the DC Bar and the Pennsylvania Bar. He founded Premium Title & Escrow, LLC in 2000. The company provides comprehensive settlement and title services for both residential and commercial transactions across Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, and Tennessee. For over two decades, it has been recognized as one of the highest volume title companies in the DMV area. With a team of professionals bringing more than 100 years of combined experience, the firm conducts detailed title searches, issues Owner’s and Lender’s Title Policies, manages escrow funds, coordinates documents, and ensures proper recording in Land Records to deliver secure and accurate closings. He is also the owner of Paramount Development, LLC, a commercial development firm based in Washington, D.C. The company has contributed to several significant projects, including The Wharf and significant apartment developments such as 555 E Street, SW, which features a hotel, residential units, and retail space. Additional projects include 1031 4th Street, NW, 350 Maple Drive, and the Hyatt Place Hotel at 400 East Street, SW. Completed in 2015, the Hyatt Place also incorporates a fire station that houses units responsible for protecting the U.S. President. He serves on the Board of Directors of EagleBank. He has long-standing involvement with the DC Chamber of Commerce, the DC Public Education Fund, and the American University Real Estate Council. Earlier in his career, he managed bankruptcy cases before dedicating his work fully to real estate transactions. Over time, he has also served on civic boards and acted as treasurer on several mayoral and council campaigns. A native of Washington, D.C. and graduate of American University, he has been married for 27 years and has two children, Danielle and Alex. He enjoys traveling and reading. Benjamin M.
