Chris Faesi

I am a finishing PhD student in astronomy at Harvard University. My research interests include star formation and the interstellar medium with a focus on comparisons of nearby galaxies to the Milky Way. My thesis consists of a detailed look at the nearby galaxy NGC 300 across the electromagnetic spectrum as a test of the universality of several important star formation relations. In addition to being an astrobites administrator, I am a founding organizer of ComSciCon. In my free time, I enjoy running, hiking, and playing percussion in several Boston-area community orchestras.
