Hi, I'm Dama. I hear voices. Sometimes these voices are loud, threatening to damage my ear drums. Other times, the voices are hushed. I hear whispers and shushing sounds. These times, I cannot make out what the voices are saying to me. That's not a problem really, because if I wanted to know all I have to do is go knock at my neighbour's door and request to join in the conversation. I never do that. Instead I sit and start writing. And the voices I hear this time are actually in my head.
