Devasis Chakma

Mr. Devasis Chakma was born on 30 December 1993 in Borapansury, a small village in Lawngtlai district, Mizoram. He completed his schooling in the village and passed the Middle School Leaving Certificate Examination (MSLC) in 2007. He then joined New Angel Public School, where he passed his HSLC, and later attended Govt. J.L. Higher Secondary School in Aizawl, graduating with an HSSLC under the Mizoram Board of School Education. Mr. Chakma earned his BA in Education from North Eastern Hill University in 2016, followed by an MA in Education in 2018. He also obtained an MA in Sociology from IGNOU and a B.Ed in Social Science from Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukerjee College of Education, affiliated with Assam University. Recently, he completed a Master's degree in Political Science from Aligarh Muslim University. In addition to his academic achievements, Mr. Chakma has qualified for UGC NET (June 2019, December 2019) and NE-SLET (March 2019) for Assistant Professor in Education. He has also completed two certificate courses: "Guidance and Counselling" and "Desktop Publishing." Currently, Mr. Chakma is employed as a high school teacher, teaching Social Science. He also works as a part-time lecturer in Education and Political Science at Borapansury Higher Secondary School.
