he/him · Boca Raton, FL

Neil Evan Ross, MD, is a physician and business professional with extensive experience in anesthesiology, healthcare operations, and clinical leadership. He completed his education at Tulane University and Tulane University School of Medicine. Throughout his career, Dr. Neil Ross has played a pivotal role in establishing and managing anesthesia groups, including Summit Anesthesia and Pinnacle Anesthesia Consultants. He is currently based in Boca Raton, Florida, where he leads Diabetic Practice Solutions LLC. Neil was born in Chicago, Illinois, and graduated from Ida Crown Jewish Academy. After high school, he moved to New Orleans, Louisiana, where he enrolled at Tulane University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He then continued his education at Tulane University School of Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1986. These academic achievements laid the foundation for a career that blended medical service with operational leadership. Following his graduation from medical school, Neil accepted a surgical internship at Boston University Medical Center. The experience provided early exposure to the intensity and demands of hospital-based medicine. After completing the internship, he returned to New York to begin a residency in anesthesiology at New York University Medical Center. His interest in the field deepened, and he went on to complete a fellowship in cardiac anesthesia at NYU. This allowed him to gain advanced clinical training and manage high-risk surgical patients. Neil began his professional career in 1990 with Sheridan Healthcare in Hollywood, Florida. He worked there until 1996, serving as Director of Cardiac Anesthesia. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Neil supported the company’s expansion by working on new contracts and assisting operations in other regions. His involvement in administrative matters—such as billing procedures, staff scheduling, and regulatory compliance—prepared him for future leadership roles. In 1996, Neil relocated to New Jersey and joined Summit Anesthesia Associates. The group provided anesthesia services to hospitals, including Mountainside Hospital and Trinitas Regional Medical Center. Neil served both as a practicing physician and a managing partner. By 1999, he became the managing member, overseeing contract negotiations, recruitment, provider management, and adherence to healthcare regulations. In 2008, Neil launched Pinnacle Anesthesia Consultants in Livingston, New Jersey. As the owner, he directed all business and clinical operations for a surgery center. The practice generated more than three million dollars annually and maintained strong year-over-year growth. Neil continued to work in the operating room, cover emergencies, and supervise providers until 2012. That year, a serious stroke brought an end to his clinical practice. In 2016, Neil joined Omniscient Financial LLC, a family-owned business specializing in equipment financing and financial compliance. He remained with the company until 2024, offering guidance and applying his leadership experience in a different sector. In 2024, Neil became involved with Diabetic Practice Solutions LLC. This business was established to help healthcare providers deliver structured diabetes care while managing administrative requirements. His role has focused on supporting practices in improving clinical outcomes and financial results. Although no longer in active practice, Neil holds a medical license in Florida, which is currently inactive. He is affiliated with the Society for Ambulatory Anesthesia and the American Society of Anesthesiologists. He received board certification in anesthesiology in 1991 and voluntarily renewed it in 2008. In 2019, Neil moved from New Jersey to Boca Raton, Florida. The relocation allowed him to spend more time with family and pursue new professional interests. Outside of work, he maintains his physical health by lifting weights regularly and enjoys collecting wine. Neil also remains involved in community life through his support of several synagogues.
