It is an honor, blessing and a privledge to be a Nursologist. Currently, I am a PhD learner at Texas Woman's University in Houston, Texas. I am active among many professional organizations in the nursing discipline. My dissertation focus is a passion of mine, ( advocating for equity, equality and social justice) foster children. Youth aging out of foster care is my population. I aspire to use my study to create positive change in the lives of youth aging out of foster care by mentorship, dissemination of knowledge and positively impacting legislation. Faith, family, and community are central to my personal and professional identity, providing the ethical and emotional grounding that informs my nursing practice
