Greg enjoys long rants on the internet, old forum posts about BIOS hacks, and Windows 10 drivers for dot matrix printers. He grew up in an entrepreneurial home, which supported the idea that if you can't build a better mousetrap, or don't try to improve one, you better learn to sell em or you'll end up in a hamster wheel spun by evil feline overlords. Having built up many battle scars starting, killing, and running companies ranging from selling sandwiches to his 5th grade class to purchase his first cd-rom drive, to his current company -- which he refuses to call an agency -- One Website Please, or OWP (Oh-Dub-Pee) if you're into rap music. One Website Please defends true and honest entrepreneurship that values profit, but also acknowledges drive and utility. Sure, OWP wouldn't be successful if they didn't take on the typical large scale client with the pre-set budget, the marketing plan, a marketing director, staff, fancy coffee makers, a corner office, and a janitor named Jerry (Hi, Jerry!). They also realize that there are hard working, or soon to be hard working, individuals who don't deserve to be called 'minnows', 'time wasters', 'leeches', or any number of other derogatory terms to describe -- pretty much anyone who isn't paying thousands of dollars or more for website services. In fact, there are thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of entrepreneurs out there may not have the technical or creative acumen to simply open up a Square Space account and magically put together a good looking site that's built to convert, let alone know what that means. Besides, those page builder sites suck (unless of course your alternative is to have no website). OWP seeks to serve that business community by providing them the fish, teaching them how the fish was caught and prepared, and then giving them real world exercises to improve their fishing skills, so they can continue happily fishing on their own or raise money to buy more boats. Wait...why are we talking about fish, and boats, and real world? Can you tell he loves writing biographical content, in the third person? Anyway - the point is, Greg doesn't think you're a douche if you decide to build a business that excludes clients who can't afford to cover your bulletproof coffee subscription. He thinks you're a douche when you devalue and write off hard working people who would most likely help you in a heartbeat if you give them the time of day. Why does it matter that he thinks you're a douche? Because everyone deserves a chance, and if you're busy being a douche with that chance, then that's just a chance wasted. Somewhere in France, there is a very confused person reading this profile wondering why people don't want to be 'showers'. Tell a joke. Don't take things so seriously. Help others. And hey...make a profit why don't ya?
