Dr. Salvatore D'Onofrio, D.N., D. D., has been working in the field of Natural Health Principles since 1968. Aligned with the Spiritual/Scientific approach of Nutripathy, he attained his Doctorate in Nutripathy and a Doctorate in Divinity. Nationally certified as a Wellness and Nutritional Consultant, he is also the founder of the Natural Health Practitioners Association. He is currently the President of the American Naturopathic Association in California. Sal's background also includes degrees and study in Massage, Chiropractic, Naturopathy, Herbology, Iridology, Therapeutic Nutrition, Symbiotic Energy Transformation, Touch for Health, Kinesiology, Dark-field, Lightfield and HLB Blood Microscopy. Partnering with the Natural health Practitioners Association, an integrated modalities network, Sal has worked with an eclectic mix of leading stem cell researchers, European cancer specialists, alternative medical doctors, osteopaths, dentists, chiropractors, psychologists, acupuncturists, homeopaths and oxygen therapy specialists. Sal's published books include "Yeast Control in Seven Days" now in it's fourth edition, and the companion publication "The Yeast Control Cookbook", along with numerous seminar tapes and videos. In this latest book "The Digestible Digest" he addresses the direct connection between digestion and vibrant health. Sal's extensive knowledge and down-to-earth style have impressed and inspired audiences across the country in lectures, on public radio and cable television. Sal maintains a private practice in addition to consulting for local medical and chiropractic physicians, psychologists, homeopaths and acupuncturists.
