Julia Park Tracey

Author of historical fiction Silence and The Bereaved. I'm a longtime journalist, poet, author and blogger, living in a renovated Victorian house with two cats, a granddog, 10,000 bees, and a husband, with occasional visits from our four daughters. We lost our son in 2019 but he's with us every day. I was Poet Laureate in Alameda, Ca. 2014-2017, and have written for HuffPo, Salon, San Francisco Chronicle, Narratively, Redbook, Hearst magazines, Babble, Scary Mommy, and many more; my poetry has appeared in many publications, most recently Autumn House Review, Black Cat, Yellow Chair, Postcard Poems.
