Nicole Metz has more than three decades of experience in Human Resources, working with Fortune 500 companies, small government contractors, and for 8 years running her own consulting firm. She served as Senior Director of Talent Management Intelligence Group for a corporation in Chantilly, Virginia, where she partnered with senior leaders on both talent management and business strategies. Her work included coaching, career development, new manager assimilation, succession planning, redeployment, personnel development, and promoting diversity and inclusion. She was instrumental in performance management, helping to set goals, monitor outcomes, shape proposals, guide organizational design, and strengthen employee capabilities. Her role also included employee relations, reporting, metrics, redeployment, and Reductions-in-Force. She led a team of staffing and talent managers and created the company’s first redeployment guide, which became a valuable resource for employees pursuing new opportunities. Before that, she spent eight years with a corporation in McLean, Virginia, where she first served as Assistant Vice President of Human Resources and later became Director of Talent Development & Management. In these roles, she supported the development of program managers and IT professionals, provided training across the organization, and received President’s Club recognition three years in a row. Earlier in her career, she held leadership positions with a communications company in Reston, Virginia, and a technology firm in Germantown, Maryland. She began at a global corporation in Federal Sales before moving into training, where she instructed more than 750 representatives, achieved 100% student satisfaction for two consecutive years, and trained top performers. She later became Sales Training Program Manager and contributed as a member of the People Development Board, supporting employee coaching and professional development. Her honors include the Aspire Award, Business Unit General Managers Award, People First Award, Strategic Vision Award, recognition as an Outstanding Performer, and five President’s Club awards. She is a member of SHRM and ASTD and has volunteered in youth sports, church programs, STEM activities, and as a driver for cancer patients. A former competitive athlete, she graduated with honors from Marymount University. She enjoys reading, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her husband, a service-disabled veteran, and their four children. Nicole Metz continues to be recognized for her commitment to human resources, leadership, and community service.
