President of Taylor Commercial, Inc.
He/Him · Atlanta, Georgia, United States

Perry Greene is the President of Taylor Commercial, Inc., one of the largest siding contractors in the United States. His leadership has guided the company’s growth across the Southeastern region, where it manages major construction and renovation projects in key markets. Taylor Commercial has completed over 25 renovations of low-income housing and condominium communities, contributing to improved housing conditions and community development. Perry Clarke Greene was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and spent his early childhood in Athens, where his father worked as a minister at the Church of Christ campus. Throughout his youth, his family moved frequently, living in places such as Memphis, Escondido, California, and Gainesville, Florida, and eventually settling in Riverdale, Georgia, by the time he was in eighth grade. Despite frequent relocations, he remained focused on overcoming challenges through hard work and discipline. By the age of nine, Greene began earning money by cutting lawns and collecting cans. At twelve, he helped his family deliver 500 newspapers each morning before school. At fifteen, he worked with a business leader to help open the first Chick-fil-A Dwarf House locations in Riverdale and Jonesboro. When disciplined as a child, he was given books about rental properties and sales techniques, which helped spark his interest in personal development, business, and financial independence. During high school, Perry earned All-State and All-Region honors as a baseball player. He continued his education at Southern Union Junior College, where he studied accounting and played baseball for two years. When his path shifted away from professional baseball, he set his sights on attending the University of Georgia. To support his education, he joined the Navy Reserve, serving in Hawaii and Thailand. He later participated at Harding University before transferring to the University of Georgia, where he earned a degree in accounting in 1996. That same year, he passed the CPA exam and began his professional career at Ernst & Young. In 1998, Greene joined a family-owned construction business, advancing to general manager within six months. The following year, he joined Taylor Commercial, Inc., where he helped grow the company's annual revenue from $600,000 to over $45 million. The company expanded operations into ten states, completing many siding installations and housing renovations. Taylor Commercial received several honors, including the 1993 Heartland Commercial Contractor of the Year award, multiple recognitions from Norandex Reynolds, and a place on the Inc. 5000 list in 2013. Beyond business success, he supported community projects by donating materials for a Vietnam memorial and assisting with local events. Perry Greene remains dedicated to achieving his personal goals, mentoring others, writing a book for homeowners, and spending quality time with his children and partner.
