Robert Finch is a professional leader whose experience spans healthcare administration, public policy, and human resources management. Throughout his career, he has focused on building effective organizations, strengthening workforce strategies, and improving leadership systems within healthcare institutions. His background includes more than 15 years of executive-level experience in healthcare, during which he managed complex operations and supported long-term organizational growth. Faith has remained a central part of Finch’s life and leadership. He joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Stephens, Georgia, at the age of nine and developed a lifelong commitment to church service. In 1988, he was ordained as a deacon and began serving actively in ministry. After moving to Jacksonville, Florida, in 1996, he continued his service at Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church, where he remained involved in the deacon ministry. Finch’s spiritual journey reached an important milestone in 2009 when he accepted his call to preach the Gospel. Guided by Reverend Abraham Mosley of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, he served as an associate pastor and continued to grow in ministry leadership. His commitment to faith and service eventually led him to accept the pastoral role at Billups Grove Baptist Church in Athens, Georgia, in October 2019. In his healthcare career, Finch served as Vice President of Human Resources and Organizational Development at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Georgia. In this role, he oversaw employee relations, benefits administration, compensation planning, and recruitment programs. His leadership supported improvements in hiring processes and helped strengthen workforce planning throughout the organization. He later joined Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center as Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Diversity Officer. In that role, he managed workforce compliance, employee development programs, and diversity initiatives. His work contributed to stronger employee engagement and helped lower voluntary staff turnover within the institution. Earlier in his career, Finch worked as a consultant for Statewide Healthcare, Inc., where he helped expand services across several cities in Georgia. He conducted training programs on federal employment laws and workplace diversity while assisting with recruitment planning and operational expansion. Robert Finch has also remained active in community leadership. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Boys and Girls Club of Athens, helping increase youth participation and expand community partnerships. In addition, he has shared his professional expertise as an adjunct instructor at Athens Technical College. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Master of Business Administration from Albany State University. Finch later completed his Juris Doctor at Florida Coastal School of Law and holds the SHRM Certified Professional and AAMC Healthcare Diversity Executive certifications.
