Poonam Verma

Poonam Verma trained in Ayurvedic medicine in Ahmedabad, India, where she holds a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) and has practised for over 20 years — Initially at a Hospital and finally at her own clinic, Absolute Wellness, with training in Panchakarma and a specialisation in wellness and constitutional care. She came to the hills of Piemonte and found, in the landscape around Loazzolo, something she recognised: a culture that had arrived at many of the same conclusions about slowness, seasonality, and the intelligence of the land. VEDA is what happened when those two traditions began their conversation.
