Sushil Mohta, Merlin Group

Sushil Mohta is an Indian real estate developer, entrepreneur, and the Founder and Chairman of the Merlin Group. A commerce graduate of St. Xavier's College, Kolkata, he founded Merlin Projects Limited in 1984, establishing corporate structure and professional standards across the regional property market. Over four decades, he expanded the group into a premier real estate conglomerate with a footprint spanning Kolkata, Pune, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Raipur, and Colombo. His portfolio encompasses residential complexes, commercial office towers, IT parks, and major retail landmarks, including Acropolis Mall and World Trade Center Kolkata. Mohta is also a Founder Member of CREDAI India, President of CREDAI West Bengal, and an IGBC Senior Fellow actively promoting sustainable urban development.
