I'm 73, a retired haematology specialist nurse, and student of theology (1970s). In Civil Partnership with a gentle, handsome, male atheist, and architect (79), with whom I have been privileged to share forty-two years of life and love. Non church-attender for over fifty years, owing to church attitudes to human sexuality; and a mistrust of Christians who treat, and read, our scriptures in exactly the same way as a devout Muslim with his Koran.
