I think I was still in my mothers womb when people started mentioning that I should be a lawyer. So for the first 18-odd years of my life this is what I wanted to be. However, after a couple of years poring over Jewish legal texts I decided law wasn't for me and transferred to studying computer science. In England I worked for a number of international banks as an analyst/programmer and then moved to Israel. When I started looking in Israel, it quickly became apparent that both my analytic and programming skills were not as sought after as I would have wished. Sometime at the end of 1988 I mistakenly interviewed for a job as a technical writer, a job for which I had no qualifications apart from a computing background. Technical writing/communication/knowledge transfer combines both the artistic, scientific and logical sides to my personality so for the last few decades this is what I have been doing.
